Mangaluru, Sep 16: The Milad Fest programme was held at Hayatul Islam Badriya Juma Masjid and Madarasa Edurupadavu Moodushedde to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).
The event was inaugurated by Khateeb Safwan Irfaani of the Madarasa and mosque.
A competition for Madarasa students was also conducted during the programme.
Present at the event were Maiyaddi, president of the mosque and Madarasa; Madarasa Sadar Ustaad Zubair Yamaani Jokatte; Muallim Jaabir Jouhari Kalladka; local Usttad Ibrahim Hisami; advocate Shafeeq Sakafi; elders Haaji Ibrahim Musliyaar; chief secretary Jamaluddin; treasurer Mustafa M K; and others.
