Udupi, Nov 19: Former Chief Minister of Karnataka, and state president of JDS, H D Kumaraswamy (HDK), will be visiting the district on Sunday November 20. He is on a four-day tour of the state to organize secular conventions for strengthening the organizational network of the party, said district president of JDS, Deviprasad Shetty.
Kumaraswamy will arrive here from Karwar on Sunday and reach the government guest house here at 12 pm. He will take part in the mega secular meet being held at 2.30 pm at Kaup. He will be on private visits in Kaup thereafter. He will leave Kaup at 7 pm to Madikeri, where he will stay overnight, Shetty explained.
HDK will leave Madikeri at 6 am on November 21, and take part in the puja being performed at Male Mahadeshwara Hills in Chamarajanagar district. He will take part in a convention being organized there, before leaving for Bangalore. During the four-day tour, he will be meeting party workers from Dharwad, Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Kodagu, Mysore and Chamarajanagar districts, Deviprasad Shetty explained.
