Brahmavar, Sep 8: In a heartwarming display of communal harmony, representatives from the Christian community in Barkur paid a cordial visit to the prominent Ganesh Utsav committee members on the occasion of the Ganesh festival. The delegation, led by the parish priest Fr Ronald Miranda conveyed festive greetings on behalf of the Christian brethren in the area.
Jossy Fernandes, vice president of Parish Council, Jerald Gonsalves, Herald D’Souza, Shaila D’Souza, Vivet Lewis and Praveen Carvalho accompanied parish priest.
In a gesture of goodwill, the Ganesh Utsav committee members lead by Shrinivas Shettigar, Umesh Acharya, Sathish Amin and others honored the parish priest by presenting him with a traditional shawl, symbolizing their appreciation for the Christian community's initiative.
