Vijaya College Mulki Alumni Association's 3rd annual general meeting held

Mumbai (RBI), Sep 1: The 3rd annual general meeting of the Vijaya College Mulki Global Alumni Association, Mumbai, was held on August 31 at the Majestic Annex Hotel conference hall in Borivali West under the leadership of the association's president, Vasudev Salyan.

In his speech, Vasudev Salyan mentioned that the Alumni Association is actively working towards the betterment of Vijaya College. Every year, it provides a grant of Rs 4 lac to underprivileged students. He expressed that such commendable work is possible due to the generous support of alumni residing in Mumbai and abroad.

Alumni members K N Suvarna, Bhaskar M Salian, Prasad Bhandary, CA Somnath Kunder, CA Kishore Suvarna, and Dinesh C Salian shared their thoughts and suggestions during the meeting.

The event was attended by alumni including Kashmira Bhaskar Shetty, Kishore Kuthyar, Ranjan Shetty, Mohan Shetty, Naveenchandra Bangera, Ashok Kolnad, Rita D'Souza, Sarita Rao, Swarnajyoti Shetty, Usha Shekhar, and Shankar Suvarna, among others.

During the meeting, secretary Bhaskar Shetty presented the annual report, while treasurer CA Rohitaksha Devadiga presented the financial statements. Vice president advocate Shekhar Bhandari provided information on the association's future activities. Bhaskar Shetty hosted the program and proposed a vote of thanks.
