Bahrain, Aug 18: The Mogaveeras Bahrain association welcomed its new committee of office bearers during an official ceremony held at Bon Sang Tai Hotel in Adliya, Bahrain. The event saw the participation of community achievers from the homeland, invited guests from the island nation, office bearers from various organizations, and hundreds of attendees.
The newly elected president, Shilpa Shamit Kundar, along with the new committee members and guests, inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp. The chief guests included Jaya C Kotian, president of Dakshina Kannada Mogaveera Mahajana Sangha Ucchila, and Jayanti Jaya Kotian. Also in attendance were Dinesh Ermal, president of Bada Ermal Fishermen Primary Cooperative Society, Padmakar Mendon, president of Mogaveeras Oman, and Ravi Karkera from Saudi Arabia.
During the ceremony, the chief guest, Jaya Kotian, and other distinguished guests were felicitated. In their speeches, they praised the working style of Mogaveeras Bahrain. President Shilpa Shamit Kundar called for the continued support of the community as the organization celebrates its 20th anniversary.
The event featured performances of dance, music, and songs by members of Mogaveeras Bahrain, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Prominent attendees included Jaya C Kotian, Dinesh Ermal, Padmakar Mendon, Shilpa Shamit Kundar, Vinod Sriyan, Mahesh Poojary, Ravi Karkera, Nagesh Naik, and Ranjan Salian.
