Bantwal, Nov 11: Under the aegis of Bangalore-based Child Rights Trust, Mangalore-based Padi–Valored and taluk education resources centre, a one-day workshop on malnourished children and children’s village meet was held at SJSY auditorium, B C Road, on Thursday November 10.
Padi–Valored director Renny D’Souza inaugurated the workshop here on Thursday morning.
Speaking on the occasion, he urged the people’s representatives and department officers to organize village council meetings in order to effectively address children’s issues of on nourishment.
The Education Resources Centers Federation president Umesh Nirmal presided over the programme.
He said that adults play a key role in providing a secure life for the children which willfree them from abuse.Child Rights Trust co-ordinator Nagaraj conducted the workshop.
Padi–Valored co-ordinator Kasturi, senior trainer Manju Vittal, and Bantwal education resources centre president Ramaraya Nayak were present at the occasion.
Education resources centre staff Gopal Anchan welcomed the gathering. Suresh of Padi Valored proposed the vote of thanks. Dinakar compered the programme.
