St Joseph's School, Bengaluru launches AICUF unit

Media Release

Bengaluru, Aug 10: The AICUF unit of St Joseph's School CBSE, launched a remarkable relief support in response to the recent natural disaster that struck Wayanad. Under the visionary leadership of the principal Fr Rohan D’Almeida, vice-principal Sr Sheena, coordinators, staff, students and parents, the school community came together to support those affected by the disaster.

The AICUF unit organised a relief drive to which parents, educators and students kindly contributed. The response was amazing. Clothes, stationery, toiletries and non-perishable food items were among the necessities that were carefully gathered and prepared for distribution.

In addition to meeting the impacted families' immediate needs this group's effort sent a message of optimism and togetherness.

The programme embodies the fundamental principles of St Joseph's School, where learning happens outside the classroom and cultivates a strong dedication to social justice and volunteer work. Under the direction of the principal, the school's administration gave resolute support, guaranteeing the driver's successful completion and efficient distribution of relief to people in need.

The AICUF unit's achievements served as evidence of the effectiveness of compassionate leadership and the strength of group effort. By launching this programme, St Joseph's School has reasserted its commitment to developing socially conscious people who are prepared to offer assistance when needed.
