Mumbai: Ashadha Ekadashi rituals commence at Pejawar Math - Bhagavad Gita recitation begins

Mumbai, Jul 17: The Ashadha Ekadashi puja was successfully conducted on Wednesday, July 17 with fervour and reverence under the guidance of Shri Purnaprajna Vidyapeetha and Sri Pejawar Math in Mumbai's Santacruz East neighborhood.

The auspicious occasion began with blessings, divine inspiration, and guidance through bhajans and the offering of a lac tulasi archana.

Dr Ramadas Upadhyaya, branch administrator of Pejawar branch, initiated the Ekadashi puja in the presence of Sri Vishvesha Tirtha Swamiji, the Adhokshaja Mathadheesha of Pejawar Math, followed by the participation of devotees in the grand mangalarati.

On this auspicious occasion, Bhagavad Gita recitation was also commenced at the Pejawar Math (Madhva Bhavan).

Members of Madhvesh Bhajan Mandal Santacruz, including Shyamala Shastry, provided spiritual guidance during the bhajan sessions. The event was attended by administrative officials of Pejawar Math Mumbai, including Prakash Acharya Ramakunj, Hari Bhat Puttige, and Niranjan Gogate, along with priests and devotees.
