Chikmagalur: Five Dead, 29 Injured in KSRTC Bus Accident

Chikmagalur,Oct25 (PTI): Five persons, including a woman, died and 29 others were injured when the Karnataka State Road Transport Coporation bus in which they were travelling rammed into a roadside tree near Birur, 50 km from here on Tuesday October 25.

The front portion of the bus was completely smashed in the process.

The injured have been admitted to a Hospital in Shimoga and government hospital in Tarikere respectively, police said.

    this painfull accident killed my friend sudhir on the spot we are not able to belive his death. we miss him a lot. shame on ksrtc u are responsible.....

    please give the victims name and adress. It is really tragic to see the photo of the bus ,kindly conduct the refresher training to the dept drivers regularly so that it can be avoided

    WHAT WAS DOING DRIVER.MAY BE SLEEPING. IN THIS CASE DRIVER MISTAKE HOW MANY PEAPLE DIED JUST THINK ABOUT FOR AN ACCIDENT.
