CM orders probe into Mysuru contaminated water death

Bengaluru, May 21: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has directed Mysuru Deputy Commissioner and District Health Officer to investigate the cause of contaminated water supply in Salundi village of Mysyru district that led to the death of a person by consuming the water.

Siddaramaiah telephonically contacted Mysuru Deputy Commissioner and District Health Officer to find out the cause of contaminated water supply in the village.

He also directed the officials to ensure that the persons, who were hospitalised due to drinking contaminated water were provided with suitable medical treatment.
