Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik calls for united effort to ensure win of candidates in MLC polls

Bantwala, May 20: MLA Rajesh Naik Ulippadiguthu said that it is everyone's responsibility to ensure win of the candidates supported by BJP in the elections of the two constituencies of graduates and teachers. He said in this regard the responsibility given by the party to the workers should be carried out sincerely.

He was addressing a meeting of prominent workers of Bantwala Vidhana Sabha constituency held on Monday at Parsha Kala Mandir, Bisroad, in the wake of the upcoming South West Graduate and Teacher Constituency elections to the Legislative Council.

He said that the victory of this election is important to implement important works in the assembly. He said that this is an election different from all other elections, and if all of them worked together, victory was certain.

K Brijesh Chowta, BJP candidate for Mangalore Lok Sabha constituency, said that the people of the two constituencies who are emotional have given strength to the party. He said that victory is possible if the elections are accepted as a challenge by maintaining personal contact with the voters till the polling day.

Speaking on behalf of South-West Graduate constituency candidate Dr Dhananjaya Sarji, he promised to work for the graduates and follow the instructions of the party as one voice.

Candidate from the teachers' constituency, S L Bhoje Gowda of JD(S) said, "BJP is another name for organisation and discipline. Prime Minister Narendra Modi of the  party has built a healthy society."

He said that the construction of a society is possible when education is given which preserves the value of life and not politics. He appealed to the NDA party to support that the reconciliation should be permanent.

MLC Pratap Simha Naik, Udupi Lok Sabha constituency BJP candidate Kota Srinivasa Pujari, Bantwala mandal president Chennappa R Kotyan, former minister Nagaraja Shetty, state party convener Dattatreya, former MLC K Ganesh Karnik, district president Satish Kumpala, district vice-president Pooja Pai, Mahila Morcha district president Dr Manjula A Rao, district secretaries Devappa Pujari, Dinesh Amtur, Backward Classes Morcha state secretary R C Narayan, District convenor Vikas Puttur, district vice-president Harikrishna Bantwala, election co-ordinator Suresh Kotyan, JD(S) district president Akshit Kumar, Bantwala Mandal secretaries Ravish Shetty Karkala, BJP leaders Tungappa Bangera, Pulincha Sridhar Shetty, Kamalakshi K. Pujari, Sulochana G K Bhat, Prabhakar Prabhu, Nalini Shetty, Ravindra Kambali and other prominent leaders were present.

Convener Monappa Devasya welcomed. Mandal Secretary Dombiah Arala presented the programme. Suresh Kotyan gave the vote of thanks.
