Udupi, May 18: “The process of counting votes for Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency will be taken up at St Cecily Educational Institute, Brahmagiri from 8 am on June 4.
Only election observers deployed by Election Commission of India, election officers, all the assistant election officers, officers and staff deployed to count votes, contested candidates or the election agents, counting agent and media persons who have obtained authorized permission from Election Commission will be Permitted entry at the venue.
Information regarding counting of votes can be obtained and complaints can be filed at #102, A block, deputy commissioner's office, Rajatadri, Manipal helpline number 1050 and 0820-2574802. The special control room will be opened 72 hours before the counting of votes begins. Public can obtain information about the counting or file complaints over the phone or arriving directly to the spot,” stated the district election officer and deputy commissioner Dr K Vidyakumari in a press release.
