Bengaluru, May 11: The Udupi region is expected to experience varying degrees of rainfall in the coming days, according to forecasts by SAC-ISRO. Scattered to widespread very light to moderate rains are anticipated over South Interior Karnataka (SIK), Malnad, and North Interior Karnataka (NIK) districts, with isolated heavy rains possible. Coastal districts are also likely to witness scattered to widespread very light to moderate rainfall. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds of 40-50 kmph are expected at isolated locations across the state.

Specifically, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada districts can expect scattered to widespread very light to moderate rainfall. Meanwhile, Mysuru, Mandya, Ramanagara, Bengaluru Urban, and Kolar districts may experience widespread very light to moderate rainfall, with isolated heavy downpours possible. Other areas in the region can anticipate scattered to widespread very light to moderate rainfall.

Ballari and Haveri districts are forecasted to receive very light to moderate rainfall, with isolated heavy rains possible, while the remaining parts of the region may experience scattered to widespread very light to moderate rainfall. Shivamogga district is likely to witness very light to moderate rainfall, with isolated heavy downpours expected, whereas Kodagu, Chikkamagaluru, and Hassan districts are expected to experience widespread very light to moderate rainfall.
