Mangalore: Indian Christian Assn Submits Memorandum to Governor

In the wake of various Christian sects being asked by the police authorities to submit details of prayer gatherings to the police stations immediately, members of Indian Christian Association submitted a memorandum to the governor of Karnataka, H R Bharadwaj in Bangalore on Monday October 10 opposing the move.

Prashanth Jatthanna, founder president of the association, Peter Dantis, secretary, Gladson Karkala, co-ordinator, Micheal Baptis, secretary of Karnataka Christ Union, Dr Rathish Johnson, Sunil Mangalore, Charles Ambler, Udupi district president of the union were part of the delegation.

In a response to the issue, the governor assured that postive steps will be taken on the issue soon.
