Mangalore, Oct 12: The inauguration ceremony of national publicity programme for Social Justice Conference to be held in Ram Leela Maidan, Delhi on November 26 and 27 was conducted at the Nehru Maidan here on Tuesday October 11.
Making every citizen aware of their status with regard to social justice is the objective of this conference, said K M Shareef, national chief secretary, PFI, after inaugurating the programme by way of waving the flag of PFI.
He said that there is need for strengthening the base of Constitution by spreading awareness about equal rights provided to every citizen of India. Social justice could be achieved if equal growth of every segment of the society is attained. Minorities and other backward classes people are not in a position to trust the even secular parties now. Many projects and commissions meant for backward class people are an eyewash, and nothing has been achieved as still they are facing problems in the society, he said.
He also stated that more than 16 bomb blasts have been conspired by Sangh Parivar as per the information of the intelligence bureau.
Dr C S Dwarakanath, former president of cackward community commission, Karnataka, the chief guest on the occasion said that RSS should be called the first terrorist union as Gandhi was assassinated by a person belonging to Sangh Parivar.
Venkataswamy, president of Samatha Sainika Dala, also chief guest, said that Advani’s yatra this time again aims at dividing the unity in the society by making false impressions.
Atoor Madrasa's Syed Ibrahim Alhadi Tanjal, P B D’Sa, Deekayya, Pattabhirama Somayaji, V T Rajshekar, Yasir Hasan, Jalil K among others were present on the dais.
Ilias Mohammed Thumbe, president PFI, Karnataka presided over the programme. Abdul Wahid Seth welcomed and delivered the keynote address. Riyaz Pasha delivered the vote of thanks.
