Udupi: Block Congress launches campaign against central BJP's alleged injustices

Udupi, Apr 21: The Udupi Block Congress has initiated a robust campaign aimed at condemning what they perceive as injustices perpetrated by the central government against the state government. Led by Udupi Block Congress president Ramesh Kanchan, party workers mobilized across 133 booths in the region, staging a ball and protesting against the alleged anti-people policies of the BJP.

The campaign, characterized by fervent opposition to the BJP's purported dissemination of falsehoods and withholding of tax shares owed to the state government, garnered significant attention. Addressing the gathering, President Kanchan voiced concerns over the BJP's silence on critical issues such as the state's drought situation and the equitable distribution of tax revenues.

Expressing apprehension over the potential implications of another BJP victory in the upcoming elections, Kanchan warned that such an outcome would exacerbate the challenges faced by the state. The gathering, attended by a multitude of party members and activists, underscored the determination of the Udupi Block Congress to champion the interests of the people and hold the ruling party accountable for its actions

District Congress president Ashok Kumar Kodavuru, District Campaign Committee president Harish Kini, Leaders Nagesh Udyavara, Mahabala Kunder, Anand Pujari, Satish Manchi, Sadashiva Pujari Kattegudde Sandhya Thilakraj, Archana, Narasimha Murthy, Rajesh Naik, Sarath Shetty, Satish Putran, Bharat , Pramila Suvarna and others were present.
