Mumbai: All America Tulu Association to celebrate ‘Bisu Parba – 2024’ at America

Mumbai, Apr 17: All America Tulu Association (AATA) founded by uniting all the Tuluvas in America for the survival and revival of Tulu language will be celebrating Bisu festival like every year on Sunday, April 21. The programme will be held at digital virtual platform at 11 am, American time. Tuluvas in India will be able to watch it at 8.30 pm live on http://www.aatana.org/bisu-parba_2024.

The programme will start after blessings by Gurudevananda Swamiji of Odiyoor math. NITK and Kalatarangini founder, main sponsor of AATA, proud Tuluva, Dr Sudhaker Rao and Tulu Kannada author Shantarama V Shetty, founder member of I Lesa the Voice of Ocean, that was started for the growth of Tulu music, will be the chief guests.

“The organisation has planned to release a matrimonial forum for the benefit of Tulu boys and girls looking to get married. Tuluvas in America and Canada will together perform an entertainment programme that reflects the culture of Tuluvas for about two hours after the hall programme,” said AATA president Srivalli Rai Martel.

Shirish Shetty, vice president of AATA, Sudarshan Shetty, chief secretary Pooja Shetty, treasurer Santhosh Shetty, joint secretary Ranjani Asaigoli, joint treasurer Sudeep Hebbar, cultural secretary Vivaswan Shetty, youth ambassador Aryaman Shetty, president Mohan Chandra K P and Bhasker Sherigar have requested all the Tuluvas in the country and abroad to participate in the programme and cooperate in the growth of Tulu language.
