Chennai, Oct 8: All eyes are set on today's second semi-final match between Mumbai Indians and Somerset in the Champions League T20 Trophy to be played at Chennai 8 pm IST onwards.
The cricket-crazy nation is eagerly waiting to see if it will be an 'all India' final on Sunday.
Though prayers are with Mumbai, at least in India, the team lacks charm without their star players Sachin Tendulkar, Munaf Patel, Rohit Sharma and others. Mumbai has to rely heavily on foreign players, and unfortunately, both Pollard and Symonds are not in great touch.
In the absense of Sachin Tendulkar, Harbhajan's leadership skills have been appreciated by the experts and the Mumbai team management. He is expected to continue his aggressive approach captaining the side.
As usual, Mumbai's trump card will be Lasith Malinga.
On the other hand, Somerset has shown consistent performance in this tournament. Their batting and bowling both have been impressive. One of the reasons for Somerset's success has been their superb batting performance at the top of the order, but their biggest test will come in the form of Lasith Malinga. Van der Merwe, Craig Kieswetter and Peter Trego have been in fantastic form and it will be upto Malinga to stop them. The Sri Lankan has the potential to derail any batting line-up and Mumbai will count on him to take quick wickets.
