Kundapura, April 13: A woman pedestrian got killed while crossing the road after a bike rammed her.
The incident happened near Navunda Muski Mahaganapathi Temple on NH66. She was returning home after delivering milk and crossing the highway when the accident occurred.
The victim is identified as Navunda resident Shanta (53). She had delivered milk et a house belonging to Shakuntala and was walking after crossing the divider.
Irfan, who was riding the bullet bike hit the woman. Both of them fell on the road and Shanta sustained serious injuries. She died on the way to the hospital.
A case in this connection has been registered at Byndoor police station.
