Panaji, Oct 7 (IANS): The Goa assembly Friday paid tribute to "digital missionary" and Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, saying that he had made all our lives "better, communicable and comfortable".
"He was a giant and genius of digital world. He made our lives better, communicable and comfortable. The pioneer of Macintosh and inventor of digital gadgets, but for him the world would have been insufficiently connected," Speaker of the Goa legislative assembly Pratapsing Rane said.
"We were one of the first legislative assemblies to use computers inside the house. It is, therefore, appropriate for the house to join the world to pay our humble tribute to the digital missionary," he added.
Jobs died Wednesday after battling pancreatic cancer for several years.
