Mangalore, Oct 7: A devotional musical programme by three leading musicians of the GSB community was held under the joint aegis of the Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy and Sevanjali Charitable Trust, at Saraswati Kala Mantap, Car Street, here on Wednesday October 5 on the occasion of the public worship of Goddess Sharada.
The state legislative assembly deputy speaker MLA Yogish Bhat inaugurated the programme here on Wednesday.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Venkataramana temple trustee C L Shenoy, Konkani Sahitya Academy president Kasargod Chinna, registrar Devdas Pai, member Mangalpady Vasudev Kini, Sevanjali Trust president Vedavyas Kamat, and public celebration of Goddess Sharada Committee president B Umanand Mallya were present on the dais.
A devotional musical programme by three renowned musicians of GSB community – Kiran Kamat and Vinayak Prabhu from Mumbai, and Shankar Shanbagh from Bangalore—was staged in worship of Goddess Sharada on the occasion.
