Kundapur, Apr 10: “Your every vote should be cast for the unity and security of the nation. The hands of Modi should be strengthened and BJP should be brought back to power again,” said Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha BJP candidate Kota Srinivas Poojary.
He was speaking during a campaign meeting of BJP Koteshwar Mahashakti limits. He said, “A strong army and secure financial system are the contribution of Narendra Modi. This is the election between patriotic people and traitors of the nation.
"We should not be watching the Congress rule which gave an affidavit in the Supreme Court that Rama is only fictional. Therefore, we should cast our vote for the security of the nation with the slogan of Jai Sri Ram,” he said.
Kota Srinivas Poojary who condemned the threats from Congress party leaders against BJP party workers recently warned that there will be protests in the street, if party workers are troubled.
BJP campaign committee president Pramod Madhwaraj said that Congress party does not have a candidate for prime minister's post. "Let them clarify who the candidate is and face elections as the country does not need a Congress party without a leader," he said.
"We need to cast our votes thinking that Modi is our candidate for the next five years for the security of the country," he said.

Shetty, Koteshwar Panchayat president Ragini Devadiga and gram panchayat presidents in Mahashakti Kendra limits were present.
