Udupi, April 8: “The union government had enacted a law for electoral bonds and all the political parties have taken them. But money means corruption for the Congress party. They are used to saying it. It would be better to remain silent for the Congress party which had indulged in mass corruption. They will thereby preserve their respect and reputation,” said BJP district former president Kuilady Suresh Nayak.
Addressing a news conference at the BJP district media office Kadiali, he said that he is one of the aspirants for the MLC post. “I was also an aspirant for the Lok Sabha seat. But our work will not stop if our party does not give us a ticket. I will work non-stop. It is our responsibility to work for the victory of all candidates of our party,” he said.
District co-spokesperson Vijay Kumar Udyavar, BJP leader Geetanjali Suvarna, district Mahila Morcha president Sandhya Ramesh, district Mahila Morcha former president Veena Shetty, district media head Srinidhi Hegde Hirebettu, district office secretary Shivakumar Ambalpady and others were present.
