Byndoor, Mar 31: Former deputy chief minister and senior BJP leader K S Eshwarappa thundered that he has endured enough and everything for so long and will now not rest until family politics in the state BJP is put to an end.
Speaking at a convention of Byndoor Hobli level activists organised by Rashtra Bhakta Balaga at Devaki Sabha Bhavan, Uppunda, Induk, Byndoor in the Shivamogga Lok Sabha constituency on Sunday, he said "Genuine Hindu workers of BJP who were ready to lay down their lives for Hindutva are being cheated continuously."
He said, "In the state, Yediyurappa is involved in preserving and promoting his family through compromise politics."
Eshwarappa said, "No worker has forgotten that I have worked for the BJP in the state at the organisational level as much as Yediyurappa. This is my fight against Yediyurappa who has only served his own selfish interests in politics by promoting his family in politics."
"This election is not just another one. It is a war against money power and patriotism. I have never made adjustments in my political career or in the political organisation as Hinduism is my breath," he said.
He said he gave in to the pressure put on him by the leaders and had abandoned the Sangolli Rayanna brigade organisation which was a first big mistake he made, adding that. activists who have accepted Hinduism were with him.
Eshwarappa predicted that he will win by a margin of at least one lac votes. "I am always with the party workers and and they will not leave me," he thundered.
Leader of the Byndoor nationalist group Sridhar Bijur, former member of Kollur Temple management committee Gopal Nada, Suvarna Pujari, Eshwarappa's son Kantesh, fishermen leader Yashu Gangolli, taluk panchayat member Narayan Pujari, town panchayat member Ganesh Rao, town panchayat leader Gopal Ganiga, electrical contractor association president Manjunath and others were present.
