Washington, Oct 4 (IANS): A massive industrial fire broke out at a chemical plant south of the city of Dallas in the US state of Texas Monday, Xinhua reported.
The fire broke out at about 11 a.m. at the Magnablend chemical processing plant.
It prompted authorities to ask residents and students at a nearby elementary school to stay inside to avoid possibly dangerous gases that might get released due to the fire, local media reports said.
The fire was spreading into a rail yard beside the plant, the Dallas Morning News reported.
There were no immediate report of anyone injured.
