Dattatreya Hosabale re-elected as RSS general secretary

Nagpur, Mar 17: Dattatreya Hosabale is re-elected as Sarakaryavah (General Secretary) RSS for the next term of three years. 

Hosabale has been serving as the RSS General Secretary since 2021.

Re-elected for the second term from 2024-27, Hosabale, popularly known as Dattaji by all Sangh activists, hails from Soraba taluk of Shivamogga district.

He did his post-graduation in English from Bengaluru University and has been associated with RSS and ABVP since his student days. He became a full time social worker for ABVP from 1978 and became a joint general secretary of RSS in 2009.
