Mumbai, Mar 11: Bombay South Kanara Brahmins association (BSKBA) held their preliminary meeting at Sion Gokula on March 9 to celebrate their upcoming centenary. “The organization has planned several programmes to make the event memorable,” said Dr Suresh S Rao, its president explaining them.
BSKBA vice president Vaman Holla, secretary A P K Pothi, treasurer CA Haridas Bhat, joint secretary Chitra Melmane, joint treasurer Ganesh Bhat, youth wing president Prashanth Herle, Gokula Kalavrinda president Vinodini R Rao, Gokula Bhajana Mandali committee and media committee president I K Prema S Rao, former president K Subbanna Rao, BSKBA first citizen Vijayalakshmi Suresh Rao, Gopalakrishna trust members B Ramananda Rao, Shailini Rao, Jagadish Chandra Kumar, other office bearers and members were present.
M Narendra, B Narayan, Rahul Rao, Ahalya Ballal, Jagadish Acharya, C Lakshmi Udupa, K S Rao, Hari Bhat, Ramamohan Karanth expressed their opinions and assured to work during 2025 for the success of the event.
K Rajaram Acharya, Vikrant Urwal, Sarvajnya Udupa, Dr Vyasaraya Ninjoor, Srinivas Jokatte, Krishna Bhat and others were present. Vaman Holla welcomed. A P K Pothi compered the meeting and proposed a vote of thanks.
