Mangalore, Sep 26: The Alumni Association of Sacred Hearts’ School, Kulshekar was inaugurated on Sunday September 25.
Mariamma Thomas, advocate and corporator of Padua Ward, Sr Marie Lyta, correspondent, Sathyavathi , PTA vice-president, Richard Alvaris, resource person and Sr Cicilia , headmistress of High School were the dignitaries seated on the dais.
The programme began with invoking God’s blessings. The Alumni Association was started keeping in mind the vision – “fullness of life to everyone, whoever comes in their lives, wherever they are placed in the society.” One hundred former students were present and all were enthusiastic to come to the Alma Mater.
The president of the Alumni Association is Sr Marie Lyta and the vice president being Mariamma Thomas who was a former Student of Sacred Hearts’ School. Joint secretary of Alumnni Association is Valene and Prescilla D’Souza, the treasurer.
The executive committee co-opted members are Navin Pinto, Gredan Pinto, Melissa Miranda, Sushma, Punitha and Chaitanya.
All former students of Sacred Hearts’ Primary and High School were called upon to join the association as it is a forum to come together and share their views.
