Bangalore, Sep 26: Kanara Entrepreneurs Organized a joint meeting of KEL Dubai, Dimensions – Mumbai, Rachana –Mangalore and a few prominent Christian Leaders from Mysore led by Gratian was held recently at Hotel Grand Magrath.
Ivan Fernandes, chairman of KE-Global, Shobha Mendonca, president of KEL Dubai, Robinson D’souza, president of KE Bangalore, Freddy Mendonca, president of Dimensions - Mumbai, Marcel Monteiro, former president of Rachana, Mangalore, along with the directors, leading members of respective organizations and special invitees participated in the meeting organized by KE Bangalore.
Robinson D’Souza, president of KE- Bangalore welcomed the delegates of the respective organizations. He gave an update of KE Bangalore meetings and activities. Shobha Mendonca, president of KEL-Dubai, introduced the team to the gathering also giving an update of the KEL activities since the last KE joint meeting held in April, 2011. Freddy Mendonca, president of Dimensions, Mumbai, also briefed the gathering about their activities. He explained in brief, about the global convention “Entreprenet -2012” a joint project of KE-Global and Dimensions. Marcel Monteiro, former president of Rachana, Mangalore, a 12 years old association, with a membership of over 400 gave an update of various activities conducted by them and also of the Rachana Awards. He also mentioned the proposed Catholic Club project in Mangalore.
In his message, Ivan Fernandes recalled the thought to form the entrepreneurs association and the early stages of KE since 2004, subsequent formation of KE Bangalore, association with Rachana, Dimensions, and Christian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) Mumbai with a pool of over 1600 entrepreneurs and professionals. He said that members should derive the benefit of the association by networking. He stressed that time should be spent on strengthening the organizations by supporting each other. “One should carry a positive thought and positive attitude for the benefit of each other and the organizations”, he said. Speaking about ‘Entreprenet -2012’, core of convention will be “Exploiting the network”. “Global business cannot be promoted individually. It requires partners”, he added.
A new business initiative ‘Kanara Business Park’ was launched. Adrian D’Souza said that a LLP company will be floated shortly. It is proposed to develop a land bank of about 50 acres of land with modern state of the art infrastructure for commercial purpose. KE members will have an opportunity for investment as well as business options.
Mark D’souza, president, in his message, emphasized that every member should learn the art of extracting the benefits of Networking.
