Dubai, Sep 25: Byndoor Catholic Association celebrated Monti-Fest-2011 on Sept 23, 2011 at Al Mas Hotel Apt. Hall, Karama, Dubai.
At the beginning, Honorable President. Rudolph Periera,welcomed the gathering. Dolphie Nazareth conducted the prayer service, included showering of flowers. The children came in a procession with flowers, and offered the flowers to Babe Mary by singing "Sakkad Sangatha Melyan and Morriyek Hogalsiyan" hymns.
In a short felicitation progrramme, the Community leader Walter Nandalike Daijiworld Editor- in -Chief and Joseph Mathias-Managing Director, Merit Freight Systems called on the stage and honored with floral bouquet by President Salvador Nazareth and Secretary Dinesh Gras. In his speech Walter Nandalike, saluted BCA and parishioners in their unity and BCA is one of the UAE's First Senior Associations in Parish Level.
The gathering was various entertained Film Dance by Master Arvin Dias, Liwana sankthis and Nikita Bhatia. Some popular melodious songs sung by Rony Byndoor, Miller Rodrigues, Eric-Gretta D'Souza, Godwin- Anita D'Souza, and Jacinta Nazareth. Music directed by young sensation Goldina D'Souza. Rib tickling skits were enacted by Ashok Dias, Dinesh Gras, Kiran Lobo and Robert Nazareth. Miller Rodrigues conducted various spot prizes.
Delicious traditional Mangalorean "Novem Jevan" and Sweet Vorn was served by Canara Restaurant. Housie Housie game was conducted by Francis Rebello and Charles Reberio
and attractive prizes were distributed to the winners prior to the closing ceremony.
The program concluded with the thanks giving speech by BCA President Salvador Nazareth. More than 100 people attended this event.
It was a well organized program appreciated by all.
