UAE: Lancy Dantis to Lead Canara Catholics Fujairah

Media Release

Fujairah (UAE), Sep 23: Lancy Ashok Dantis was unanimously elected as the president of Canara Catholics Fujairah for the year 2011-2012. The general body meeting of CCF was held at the Fujairah Church hall recently.

Hailing from Paladka, Lancy has been residing in Fujairah for quite a few years. He has served CCF in the past under various capacities.

Also elected are Prakash Rodrigues, Kinnigoli as chief coordinator, Prakash Mascarenhas, Moodbidri as secretery and Roy Veighas, Milagres as the treasurer.

In his short introductory speech Lancy thanked all the members for their goodwill and promised to continue the good work.

The outgoing president Antony D’Silva thanked everyone for their support and wished success for future activities.
