Bhatkal, Sep 22: Best Academy, popularly known as Bhatkal Academy hosted Eid Milan at the Mango Farm, here recently.
The programme began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Yahya Hallare. Vaqas Barmavar welcomed the gathering. Abuzar Abu Husaina recited Naat-e-Paak followed by a Nawaity poem presented by Nadeem Qausain.
Owner of the Best Academy and college board secretary of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Javeed Armar conducted a short general quiz for the students, the winners of which were awarded with cash prizes.
President of Rabitha Society Bhatkal, Abdullah Lanka addressed the gathering and speaking about education, said, “In order to be good and successful, one has to build a strong character first and foremost''.
Principal of Anjuman Pre-University College Prof Riyaz Ahmed Jagirdar, addressed the students and congratulated Javeed Armar for his achievements. He said, “Two things, namely education and quality are very important.” Citing various examples, he stressed on the need to be sincere in one’s studies.
Owner of Bhatkal Haj and Umrah service Fayyaz Nilawar , Ismail Damudi, Jukaku Abdul Raheem, Inayatulla Shahbandari, Nisar Sada and Irfan Akrami among others were present.
Two Umra packages, mobile phones, computers and many more gifts were given away.
Muraffa Gawai of 2nd year PUC and Tehreem from 1st year PUC won the Umra package. The computer was won by Yaseen from final year B Com and Anjum from 2nd year PUC won a mobile phone.
As many as 300 students took part in the programme. Noor from final year BBA delivered the vote of thanks and Naif from 2nd year PUC compered the programme.
