Sitharaman to present ‘white paper’ on UPA era’s economic mismanagement

New Delhi, Feb 8 (IANS): Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is set to present ‘white paper’ in Lok Sabha on Thursday, showcasing the achievements of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in last 10 years of Modi government while also giving an account of 'economic mismanagement' of the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) regime.

This comes days after Finance Minister announced in her vote-on-account Budget on February 1 that Modi government had deliberately kept the ‘miserable’ state of economy in pre-2014 era under wraps and now after 10 years of ‘robust’ growth, it was time to impress upon the public about “where we were till 2014 and where we are now”.

She said that it was the right time to draw an economic comparison between the NDA & UPA eras as this will allow people to “draw lessons from the mismanagement of those years”.

    if you Neerulli bellulli sitharaman you must know what is the price of bellulli /garlic. produce white paper on vat, verses g.s.t. produce white paper on meat prices, produce white paper on petrol, diesel and petrol, produce white paper on LPG. If you don't do so you are following in UPA's footsteps, However bring forth Tollgate hikes, tomatoes rate was 200/- Stop speaking blah, blah, blah......

    Job growth, lower unemployment and wage increase are the main indicator of economic growth of the country. Without more employment it’s impossible to achieve economic growth of the country. Unemployment will pull down the economic growth and increase inflation. Robots and machines can not be employed but still to manufacture them human are needed. During UPA employment was record high but after 2014 during NDA rule unemployment sky rocketed to 47 years high. You can show your ‘White Paper’ to blind bhakths to get applause but don’t show it to the great, world renowned and highly educated economist Raghuram Rajan who will laugh at that white paper and trash it.
