Bantwal: SKDRDP, SHGs Organize ‘Dhanavantari Puja’

Bantwal, Sep 19: “Humans are overriding nature’s limits and this will have an adverse effect on mankind,” said religious celebrant Hiranya Venkatesh Bhat.
 
He was speaking at a religious meet held during the public celebration of ‘Dhanvantari Puja’ at Kedila here on Sunday September 18.  It was held under the aegis of Mani zone of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP), Pragatibandu self-help-groups Federation Kedila and Perlapu, and Kedila Sri Devi Bhajan Mandal.
 


The puja committee honorary president Pushparaj Hegde presided over the programme.
 
SKDRDP director Mahaveer Azri, Chennappa Gowda Kuduman, Srinivas Kudumblady, Eshwar Gowda, and Krishna Rai Perlapu were present on the dais.
 
The puja and Vedic rituals were held ahead of the stage programme under the leadership of Vedamurti Narasimha Bhat on the occasion.
 
SKDRDP zonal overseer Pattanna was felicitated as was he was transferred to Tumkur.
 
Committee advisor Shyam Prasad Shastri welcomed the gathering.  President Gopalakrishna Bhat proposed the vote of thanks and SKDRDP overseer Ashok compered the programme.
