Amid political turmoil in Bihar, Nitish to visit Brahmeshwar Nath temple


Patna, Jan 27 (IANS): Amid political turmoil in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will visit Baba Brahmeshwar Nath temple in Buxar district on Saturday.

The district administration has carried out renovation of the temple which is completed now and Nitish Kumar will inaugurate it in a short while from now.

Nitish would reach Berhampur high school by helicopter and travel to the temple by road.

Nitish is expected to return to Patna around 1 pm.

Meanwhile, JD(U) MLC Neeraj Kumar said: "Nitish Kumar is not greedy for any post. He is an elected chief minister of Bihar. We cannot say anything to those who are living in a dilemma."

At present, all political parties have asked their MLAs to assemble in place. They want to avoid horse-trading at this crucial point juncture.

The BJP has called the meeting of legislators in Patna on Saturday and so did RJD. Congress party is holding the meeting in Purnea in Seemanchal region. Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) has also told its legislators to stay in Patna.
