Mangalore, Sep 17: The members of the Human Rights Cell of St Ann’s College of Education here, organized a valedictory programme of the Cell on Thursday September 15.
Besant Women’s College professor Dr Sulochana Narayan delivered a lecture on ‘Human Rights and Women’ on the occasion.
Dr Narayan highlighted the importance of creating awareness among the young generation about human rights, their duties towards others, and thereby creating a better society where all can live peacefully.
Dr (Sr) M Clare AC, principal of the College, presided over the function. Sr Clare, in her concluding remarks, congratulated co-ordinator Jasmine D’Souza and members of the Cell for their untiring efforts in making this day a significant one.
