Doctors doing pvt practice while on duty, coming late will be suspended: Raj Health Minister

Jaipur, Jan 10 (IANS): Rajasthan Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar on Wednesday said doctors in the government hospital who come late for their job and do private practice while on duty will be suspended.

Khimsar had reached Didwana-Kuchaman on Tuesday afternoon while going from Khinvsar to Jaipur.

Chemist Society members of Kuchaman, Health Department officials, Lions Club members and representatives of Rajput community met Khimsar at Hotel Karni Court Bypass and Megha Properties in Kuchaman city.

The minister said: "No doctor will do his private practice while on duty. If found doing so, he/she will be directly suspended."

"I will not make any kind of compromise. The government doctors cannot do private practice during duty hours. To stop this I will deploy flying squad. I will check myself. This is a very serious issue," he added.
