New York, Sep 6 (IANS): India's Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi dispatched compatriot Somdev Devvarman and Treat Conrad Huey of the Philippines 6-4, 7-5 to enter the US Open Tennis Championships men's doubles quarter-finals.
The fourth-seeded "Indian Express", the 1999 US Open finalists, committed just nine unforced errors during the 90-minute clash.
They now play sixth-seeded Poland's Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski, who defeated Britons Jamie Delgado and Jonathan Marray 6-7(5), 6-2, 6-3 to advance to the quarter-finals here for the second straight year.
