Madhya Pradesh, Dec 6: Saransh Gupta, hailing from Shivpuri, a small town in the state quit a highly paying job to become an IAS officer.
Saransh’s father works as secretary in a panchayat in his village while his mother is a home maker. However, the family supported education all the while.
Saransh was studious and completed his civil engineering from IIT BHU. Though he got a campus offer of Rs 16 lac, he did not continue after a year, as he always wished to serve the public.
Determination to become an IAS officer was so high in Saransh that he cleared UPSC in his first attempt itself. He is just 22 and is the youngest IAS officer to serve Indian Engineering Services. Saransh says that though he has got many offer letters from renowned corporates there is no better feeling than serving the country.
Saransh secured AIR 20 in his first UPSC attempt itself and made his dream become true through hardwork and dedication.
