Mumbai, (RBI) Nov 25: Students of St Xavier's High School, Virar and St Francis High School, Vasai who recently participated in the Indian Model United Nations (INMUN) held in New Delhi from November 6-8, interacted and shared their experiences with the founder chairman of Ryan International Group of Institutions, Dr A F Pinto, who along with Dr Grace Pinto, the managing director of the same group pioneered the introduction of Model United Nations in India for school students at the national level.
The INMUN, hosted by the Ryan Group, draws the participation of over 1,500 delegates annually from more than 100 schools in India and South Asian countries.
At this international conference, students deliberate on international issues as delegates of different countries, which help them develop leadership skills and improve their knowledge of geopolitical issues and the functioning of the United Nations.
The Ryan Group of Schools incorporates such events into the school curriculum, in line with the vision of chairman Dr A F Pinto and managing director Dr Grace Pinto, who strive to offer holistic education with 21st-century skills and groom students as leaders in their chosen fields. During the event, students took the opportunity to present their INMUN diaries to chairman sir, profiling the event and sharing their experiences.
