Gujarat, Nov 18: Nirbhay Thacker, hailing from Jamnagar of Gujarat was termed as a weak student by his teachers. However, he stunned everyone by completing graduation during his teens itself. He took just one year to complete BE.
Born in 2002, Nirbhay completed his eighth to 10th grade studies in just six months. It took him just three months to clear both 11 and 12 grades. At the age of 13, he had done with his HSC. Nirbhay was the youngest engineer of Gujarat at the young age of 15. It took just one year for Nirbhay to pass the four year BE degree course. He got the degree in 2018, at the age of 15 from Gujarat Technological University (GTU).
Nirbhay’s aim is to complete many degrees. He is planning to complete mechanical, computer, instrumentation, automation and electrical engineering degrees within four years.
Dhaval Thacker, father of Nirbhay is the one who encouraged him. He is an engineer by profession and his mother is a doctor. Nirbhay completed his schooling at IGCSE which allows students to take fast track and complete the schooling in short span of time if they are capable of doing so.
World Education Congress has conferred young achiever award on Nirbhay. He has joined IIT Gandhinagar and will be doing research on next generation technology. He also wants to do PhD in addition to the 10 degrees in engineering.
Upon receiving the young achiever award Nirbhay said, “Till sixth grade, I was in a CBSE school which did not allow any competition. After changing schools and joining IGCSE as a private candidate, I took fast track and completed my schooling. Because of this decision, I could write and pass five grades in just one year. If one understand what he or she is reading, then it is very easy to clear the examination.”
