Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (JD)

Udupi, Nov 16: Daijiworld Udupi and Kishoo Enterprises in association with St Mary’s English Medium School (CBSE), Kannarpady is all set to present the third edition of “Natal Sobhan 2023”, an exclusive competition filled with Christmas fiesta.

The competition will be held on December 10 at St Mary’s English Medium School (CBSE), Kannarpady.

The winning team will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 25,000 along with a  trophy, while second and third place winners will get cash prizes of Rs 20,000 and 15,000 cash prize along with trophies respectively.

The last date for registration is November 30, 2023.

Rules and Regulations:

• Maximum time limit for the team is 15+3 minutes.
• School, Church, organisation, ward anyone can make a team and participant in the event.
• Teams are expected to perform act, dance, sing (tableau) related to Christmas.
• The performance should deliver a good message to the society.
• Carol singing must be live.
• Narration and background music can be used for the performance.
• The minimum number of participants in a team is 12. The team can have a maximum of 25 members.
• Usage of music tracks is not allowed for carol singing.
• Konkani, Kannada, English languages can be used for the performance.
• Anyone can participate in the competition. No restrictions of any sort.
• Teams should provide accurate details in the registration form provided by the organisers.
• 3 minutes will be provided for stage setting.
• The performances should not hurt others.
• Performances can be a mixture of dance and singing.
• Usage of fire and animals is restricted.
• Teams should clean the stage after their performances.
• Certificate of participation will be awarded to all the participants.
• All the participating teams will be awarded with incentives.
• Judges' decision is final. No further discussion will be entertained on the decision of judges.
• Performances of every team will be telecast on Daijiworld 24x7 TV channel in a series of episodes during the Christmas week.
• Last date for registration: November 30, 2023.

Note:

• Musicians are allowed to participate in more than one team, as musician.
• A musician cannot perform as musician in one team and as participant in another team.
• 3 instruments can be used by every team.
• Participants of one team are not allowed to participate in another team.
• Every team is allowed to bring 5 members to help with the arrangements.
