Jaipur, Nov 16 (IANS): BJP national president J. P. Nadda on Thursday released manifesto for Rajasthan Assembly polls in which the party promised saving bonds for girl child, free scooty to meritorious girl child, SIT probe into corruption cases and "mahila thana" for women in every district.
Besides, the party also promised Rs 450 subsidy on LPG cylinder for Ujjawala beneficiaries, bonus of Rs 2,700 per quintal on MSP for wheat.
Along with this, it also announced formation of a committee to give compensation to farmers whose land has been confiscated.
For the safety of women, anti-Romeo force will be prepared in every city and a women's desk will be made in every police station, it said.
The meritorous girl students will be provided free scooty after Class 12.Along with this, BJP has promised to provide government jobs to 2.5 lakh people in five years.
The saffron party has also promised that if voted to power, an SIT will be formed to investigate the alleged corruption in the Gehlot government.Under this, all scams including paper leak, Jal Jeevan Mission, old age pension will be investigated and action will be taken against the culprits.
Lado Incentive Scheme on the lines of Ladli Lakshmi Scheme of Madhya Pradesh has been announced under which a saving bond of Rs 2 lakh will be given to every newborn daughter.Under this scheme, Rs 6,000 per year will be provided in class 6, Rs 8,000 in Class 9, Rs 10,000 in class 10, Rs 14000 in class 12, rupees 50,000 for professional studies and after turning 21 years, and 1 lakh rupees will be deposited in the account.
The BJP has also made some big announcements for the youth.On the lines of IIT and AIIMS in Rajasthan, a Rajasthan Institute of Technology and Rajasthan Institute of Medical Sciences will be opened.
Nadda said that records of paper leak have been made in Rajasthan.There has also been a scam of Rs 450 crore in the old age pension scheme, he alleged.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's family has received a contract worth Rs 11,000 crore which shows how Congress "promotes nepotism and corruption".
Nadda said, " In the past five years, Congress is known for corruption, playing with the honour of women, contempt of farmers, paper leaks, atrocities on the poor, Dalits and backward classes."
Sankalp Patra Committee convener and Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said in over two and a half months, the committee contacted more than 1 crore people, and got over 1 crore suggestions based on which, the polls manifesto was made.
