Jason Lobo's ‘Eksurpo'nn’ Konkani music video garners good response

Mangaluru, Nov 15: ‘Eksurpo'nn’ is a new Konkani music video released on Jason Lobo's YouTube channel. The song speaks about the agony of bearing an untold story within oneself, i.e. about the feelings of a man who has received the papers of separation from his beloved. The Konkani song is in the Goan diction and is an amalgamation of Goan and Mangalurean artistes beautifully shot aptly describing the feelings of the composer.

Milagres Pereira, the director of HLI Goa, has penned the song and composed its tune. Knight & Day, a popular band of Goa has composed its music and Jason Lobo, Bondel has rendered his vocals for the song.

Aloysius/Merlyn D'Souza & fly, Doha, Qatar, have extended their support by sponsoring the project.

The music video features Reenal Lewis from Brahmavar, Anston Rodrigues, a promising violinist from Mangaluru and Jiana Pheba.

The concept of the video is a brainchild of Stany Bela who is a renowned journalist and the production director at Daijiworld media and he has also directed the video, with an able team including Manish Suvarna, Shaktinagar handing the DOP, stills by Dayanand Kukkaje assisted by Shiva Yeyyadi and Harish Konaje, editing by Shrikant Somayaji and designed by Nagaprasad Mudrangadi.

All have worked on the visual execution of the project .The recording and shooting has been done at the Daijiworld Audio-Visual Studio, Mangaluru.

Russel Rodrigues, an upcoming musician from Derebail has arranged the music portions, handled the programming and mixed and mastered the song track which was recorded by Srikant Srinivas, Chennai.

English subtitles to reach the non-Konkani viewers are provided by Dr Alwyn Serrao, principal at St John’s College, Naravi.
