Bahrain: Dakshina Karnataka Sunni Centre Hosts Iftar Party

Bahrain, Aug 28: Dakshina Karnataka Sunni Centre Bahrain (DKSC) hosted Iftar party for members and friends at Anarth Hall, Manama here on Friday August 26.

Scholar Hakim Saqafi in his address explained the importance of Ramadan and dua.

DKSC Bahrain was established in 2002 and has more than 500 members at present. The DKSC in Dakshina Kannada was formed earlier in the year 1995.

The organisation aims at serving the community as a beacon of knowledge and resort for orphans and destitute children in the society.

President Vittal Jamaluddin welcomed the gathering, while secretary Abbas Uchil delivered the vote of thanks.

Around 400 people attended the event.
