Jaipur, Nov 2 (IANS): Two sisters including a minor girl hailing from Rajasthan's Dausa district have been allegedly raped in Jaipur by two persons who promised them to provide government jobs, an official said on Thursday.
According to the police, one of the accused had called them to meet in Jaipur on the pretext of discussing the process of applying for government jobs and getting a suitable position.
After both the girls came to Jaipur, the accused took them to one of his friend's house and allegedly raped both sisters.
The victim's father lodged an FIR against the two accused in Amer police station for gang rape and Pocso Act.
The case is being investigated by ACP (Amer) Aditya Poonia.
The girls' father in his complaint said that his 18-year-old daughter was living at a rented accommodation in Dausa. She was preparing for a competitive exam and used to go to the library to study.
The man claimed that a library official, Hemendra Sharma, approached his daughter, discussed the process of getting a government job and the two gradually began interacting.
The victims' father accused Sharma of raping his daughter several times on the pretext of getting her a government job. He also threatened her not to tell anyone.
It was also mentioned in the complaint that Sharma later called his daughter and her minor sister to meet a friend in Jaipur.
He deceived them by saying that his friend -- Antram Choudhary -- would "facilitate" government jobs for both the sisters.
On November 5, 2022, when both the sisters reached Jaipur by train from Dausa, accused Hemendra and his friend Antram came to pick them up at Jagatpura railway station.
Both the sisters were taken to a flat in the car, where accused Antram allegedly raped the minor girl and Hemendra raped both the sisters.
Later, both the sisters were sent to Dausa with a promise of getting them a government job soon.
When both the sisters narrated their ordeal to the family members, their father filed a complaint against the accused.
The police have registered a case and began an investigation into the matter.
