Bengaluru, Oct 28: The game-plan of opposition BJP to topple Congress government in Karnataka will not succeed, asserted Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar in Bengaluru on Saturday.
Speaking to media persons near his residence before flying off to Hyderabad, he said the Congress party is fully aware of the conspiracy of BJP.
The statement by Mandya legislator Ravi Ganiga on the BJP conspiracy to topple the government is known to the party, he claimed.
“I know there are big leaders behind the conspiracy to pull down the Congress government. But such attempts will never succeed,’’ he declared.
BJP may have toppled the H D Kumaraswamy-led Congress-JD(S) coalition government, he said pointing out that the situation was totally different at present.
Shivakumar, who is also heading the KPCC, asked all party legislators and leaders to stop publicly airing their opinions on the internal matters of the party or pertaining to government and power.
“This is both an appeal and also a warning,’’ he said making it clear that those violating the dictat will be issued notice and action will be taken.
