Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (SP)
Mangalore, Aug 25: Some modifications have been affected to the rules governing the movement of vehicles and people in front of the integrated terminal of the local airport.
According to new provisions, people arriving at the airport should move through the ‘U’ bend to reach the terminal’s entrance instead of directly approaching the entry point. Likewise, the vehicles of the passengers should reach the front portion of the arrival hall through the fly over.
Once the passengers get seated, the vehicles should take the ‘U’ bend and move via fly over. The people as well as passengers using arrival and departure halls of the terminal have to use the common gate located below the fly over.
Taxies and cars which get parked at the airport for over five minutes have to pay a parking fee of Rs 40. The rate for vehicles using premier car parking facility has been fixed at Rs 60.
If there are any grievances or complaints relating to the above modifications, the same may be addressed to the airport director or terminal manager, the airport management said.
