Mangaluru, Oct 10: The district administration has informed that six persons from Dakshina Kannada are stranded in war-torn Israel. Among them, five are from Ujire and 1 from Farangipete and all are serving as caretakers in Israel.
The six are stranded at Herziliya, Tel Aviv, Batyam, Netanya, Ramat Hasharow and Hamoshava.
In light of the current situation in Israel, the Dakshina Kannada district administration has requested information regarding Udupi residents currently in Israel for various reasons, including business, education, employment, and other purposes.
Residents are urged to provide these details promptly to the control room established at the deputy commissioner's office, room no. 1077, by calling 0824-2442590. Alternatively, they can contact the state government's emergency numbers at 080-22340676 and 080-22253707.
