Mumbai, Oct 7 (IANS): Taking a stroll down the memory lane, actress Bhumi Pednekar recalled a memory of accidentally getting on a roller-coaster ride in London’s festive fair called Winter Wonderland, revealing that she is scared to sit on the amusement park rides.
This weekend, the talent-based reality show, 'India’s Got Talent' season 10, sees Bhumi Pednekar, Shehnaaz Gill, Kusha Kapila, Dolly Singh, and Shibani Bedi as the guests.
Not only will they enjoy the performances but also add their enigmatic charm to the show. Featuring a larger-than-life swing as their prop, ‘The ART’ (Abhishek from Uttar Pradesh, Rahul from Jaipur, and Tejas from Mumbai) will impress one and all with their sizzling act on 'Lahu Munh Lag Gaya'.
The song is from the 2013 romantic action drama ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’, written and directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in lead roles, with Priyanka Chopra making a special appearance in the song 'Ram Chahe Leela'.
The track ‘Lahu Munh Lag Gaya' is sung by Shail Hada, Osman Mir, Shadab Faridi, and Altamash Faridi.
Amazed by their act, Bhumi goes on to share an interesting memory, as she said: “I'm not an adrenaline junkie and I get very scared when I sit on amusement park rides. And when I was watching this act, it reminded me of the day I accidentally got on a roller coaster for the first time.”
“I was so scared that day, and I felt the same way today. I don't know where this coordination, confidence, and courage come from, but obviously, you guys look great, you're extremely fit, and there's no denying that. But genuinely, in your performance, there was so much energy. I didn’t see a moment of doubt or fear on your faces; it was perfect, and I thoroughly enjoyed it,” shares the ‘Durgamati’ fame actress.
Furthermore, when probed by Badshah about her accidental roller coaster ride, Bhumi said: "This actually happened by mistake when I was in London, and there's a festive fair called Winter Wonderland. There were photos of kids at the entrance, so I thought it was a kids' ride. It was dark inside and I sat on it, and it turned out to be a roller coaster. I have pictures from that day, realising that I've been tricked so badly. (Laughs).”
Judge Shilpa Shetty Kundra can't contain her excitement as she goes on to give her signature ‘hunar salam’ to the performance of ‘The Art’.
She exclaims, “The ART, you were so good. You guys surpassed your last best performance with this one. It's unbelievable. Working with a prop like a swing is very challenging. If there is even a slight timing mismatch among any of the members, the whole act can fall flat. You guys nailed it. It was brilliant.”
Shilpa also joins them on stage to perform on the popular track 'Lahu Munh Lag Gaya' , whilst using their prop, making for a memorable moment.
As the intensity of the competition increases, the contestants raise the bar in the upcoming ‘Wish Special’ episodes, to secure their place in the show.
'India’s Got Talent' airs on Sony.
